The Tech Wear LEQ-43-XS Econo$hield Lab Coat is made of ECX-500 fabric which has excellent shielding properties for use with applications where grounding the garment is unnecessary.

Life Expectancy: Under normal wearing and recommended washing conditions, Tech Wear garments made of ECX-500 material should maintain their usefulness and effectiveness nearly as long as our guaranteed OFX-100 and IVX-400 garments.

Perscribed home cleaning process for ECX-500 ECONO$HIELD™ garmets: Cold or cool wash with liquid laundry detergent (ie: liquid Tide, liquid Lemon Dash, liquid Cheer, Oxydol, etc.) Do not use liquid fabric softners or laundry detergents which contain added fabric softeners or bleach. Hang dry or tumble dry at lowest temperature setting on home dryer. Garment will dry very quickly. Do not allow garment to be exposed to dryer heat longer than necessary to dry garment.

Never use bleach or fabric softener for maxium garment life, hang drying is recommended.
