The Excelta 15A-SW 3-Star High Precision Angled Head Round Tipped Cutting Tweezers are made from high grade carbon steel and have ESD-safe epoxy handles. It's for use on 0.01" or smaller soft wire. Carbon steel was the first material used for watch making tweezers and give the tweezers flame-hardened tips that provide a long life but this material is highly magnetic and has low rust resistance. This material should not be used for autoclave sterilization.
