The Excelta 22 3-Star Nickel Plated Serrated Broad Tip Angled Tweezers are made from carbon steel and have double cut inside serrations for better gripping of items and outside serrations for better handling. Carbon steel was the first material used for watch making tweezers and give the tweezers flame-hardened tips that provide a long life but this material is highly magnetic and has low rust resistance. This material should not be used for autoclave sterilization. These tweezers also feature an alignmnet pin that keeps the tips aligned under high strain applications.
