Continuing our look at the features and benefits of having a QSource.com account, this time we're focusing on the miscellaneous Web site features available to our customers. Read on to learn about:

Account Contact Information

Your sales rep contact is located on your My Account page. When you create an account, you'll be assigned a sales rep and their contact info will then be available on your My Account page.

Order Templates

Order Templates provide a list of specific items that you can go to directly and order quickly. This is useful for orders you place on a regular basis. You can easily view items from a specific order and adjust quantities, if needed. Click Add To Cart to finish your purchase. You can create your own Order Templates, or they can be created for you by a site admins.

To use this feature, you need to be logged in and navigate to https://www.qsource.com/ordertemplates/#/.

Order Uploader

You can create a shopping list offline and then upload your entire order to your Web account using Order Uploader. To access this feature, first download our Excel template and complete the 3 columns: Item ID, Quantity, and Line Notes (optional). Web site orders (including uploaded orders) can contain up to 200 part numbers. Upload the Excel file to our Web site to finish your order.

To access this feature, you need to be logged in and navigate to https://www.qsource.com/products/orderuploader.

Quick Order

If you know the part numbers and quantities you'd like to purchase, Quick Order provides a fast and easy way to add those items to your cart. Part numbers entered must be an exact match of an existing item ID or a one-to-one match of a customer part number or supplier part number. If a non-exact item ID entry is made, a pop-up box will appear with a list of potential matches.

You must be logged in to use this feature. You can add part numbers to the list individually, or click the paste list option to paste a complete list. There are two different links to access this feature:

If you decide to use the paste function, you'll need to use the format (Part Number/SKU, Quantity) to create the list. See the above images for more information.

Express Checkout

When in the shopping cart, you can select the Express Checkout option located on the right-hand side. This will apply the information (ship-to, billing information, and carrier information) you previously set up in the Checkout Defaults section on the My Account page. You can then click on Submit Order to checkout.

Customer Logos

To add a personal touch to your account, we can assign a company logo to your account. You'll see your logo when you go to your My Account page.
