The Puritan 1283-PF ESD Foam Tipped Swab is a non-sterile applicator that has a corkscrew foam tip with a static dissipative polypropylene handle. The tip of this applicator is reticulated 100 PPI foam that has side spirals design, which traps and retains particulates. Its heat staked to a rigid glass filled polypropylene shaft and can be used in many critical and industrial environments for tasks like safe cleaning of static sensitive components, microelectronic manufacturing, and medical device manufacturing. The 1283-PF ESD is an ESD-safe medical grade foam applicator that will not lose its ESD properties over time.

The Foam tip material is a medical-grade polyurethane foam that is produced in a sheet form in a range of porosity.
