The Puritan 1806-WCF Foam Tipped Swab is a non-sterile applicator that has a foam-over-cotton tip with a wood handle. The tip of this applicator is reticulated 100 PPI medical grade foam over high quality USP grade cotton, which is carded at Puritan to maintain consistency and has a soft, smooth, lint- and residues-free characterstic. It's bonded securely to a rigid white birch shaft perfect for industrial and critical environments for tasks like applying adhesives or other solutions, removing dirt, contamination, fluxes, or resins, and general cleaning. The 1806-WCF foam tip applicator can be used with IPA and DI water or dry.

The Foam tip material is a medical-grade polyurethane foam that is produced in a sheet form in a range of porosity.
