The SCS 2204 Adjustable Wrist Strap is used to safely ground a person to prevent the buildup of static electricity on their body, which can result in electrostatic discharge. These wrist straps are the front line defense in all static control processes. The SCS (3M) 2204 Adjustable Wrist Strap adjusts to any size wrist to provide reliable, 360° protection. All wrist strap sets include an alligator clip, which fits over the installed banana jack on the ground cord, to provide an alternative ground attachment method.
