The Puritan 25-826 2WD Polyester Tipped Applicator is a sterile applicator that has a tapered mini polyester tip with a wood handle. The tip of this applicator is a medical grade synthetic polyester material that has a tapered shape contains no fatty acids or latent sugars. It's securely bonded to a sturdy naturally biodegradable wood handle with an aqueous based adhesive and is perfect for diagnostics and medical environments for task's like specimen collection, patient care, and surface collection. The 25-826 2WD polyester tip applicator is CE marked for medical use and meets FDA GMP's, ISO 9001:2008, and ISO 13485:2003 standards (certificate of compliance is available with each shipment upon request).

The polyester material is a synthetic spun fiber that is made from a polymer and has been tested and validated for use in specimen collections for applications like microbiology, rapid test diagnostics, and PCR analysis.
