The Puritan 3140 Knitted Polyester Swab is a non-sterile applicator that has a small knitted polyester tip with a polypropylene handle. The tip of this applicator is a polyester material that has good wear resistance and is lint-free with low NVR's and particulates. It's thermally bonded to a light green polypropylene shaft with no contaminating adhesives and perfect for critical and industrial environments for task's like removing residues and particulates, manufacturing or refurbishing of electronic and communication devices, and instrumentation and medical device manufacturing. The 3140 polyester tip applicator can be used dry or with IPA and Di water or solvents.

The knitted polyester material is made from a woven polyester fabric and commonly constructed without soluble adhesives. This assures the cleanliness of the process required for critical environments. Puritan sources fabric directly for these specialty products so they fit their exacting specifications.
