The Excelta 3C-PI 2-Star Fine Precision Point Tweezers are made from carbon steel and are precise tweezers that are used for general assembly and light magnification. Carbon steel was the first material that was used for watch making tweezers and have flamed hardened tips that provide a longer life but are still highly magnetic and low rust resistant. This material should not be used in autoclave sterilization applications.
