Excelta 5A-CO - 5-Star COBALTIMA® Offset Tip Tweezers - 4.5"

The Excelta 5A-CO 4.5" Five Star Cobaltima® Tweezers with Offset Tips and Micro Fine Points are made entirely from a patented alloy containing Cobalt for added strength and corrosion resistance to acids. Excelta's special Cobalt Steel is harder than stainless steel, anti-magnetic, and has excellent resistance to corrosion and temperatures up to 500°C (932° F). The hardness of the tips is progressive and reaches its peak in the deployment zone where we have measured a Rockwell C hardness of 63/64 for model 5-CO, which makes it harder than Stainless Steel while remaining anti-magnetic.

The radiused inside edges protect parts from scratching, while the outside finger grooves provide extra grip and feel when handling very small parts. The offset design offers better visibility in dense areas. It is highly recommended for autoclave sterilization. CTM = 0.0024" wide, 0.0008" high. Made in Switzerland.
