The Chemtronics CHV8 Chemask High Viscosity provides a more controlled application with a temporary, high viscosity, fast curing, peelable solder masking agent. This temperature resistant compound that protects components free areas during wave soldering can be introduced to wave soldering preheat within 4 minutes. It’s used to protect pins, post, contacts, and edge connections during the conformal coating process. The Chemtronics CHV8 Chemask High Viscosity is a latex material that is compatible with flux systems and stable with cleaning solvents. When a thicker coating is applied it will not seep through thru-holes.
