The Metcal HCT2-200-21 Digital Hot Air Pencil is designed for very small surface mount component and package sizes and low board densities. It has two LED displays that display graphical and numerical airflow and temperature control. This hot air station features a 200 Watt ceramic heater and dual stage pump that provides the power and performance to deliver the right amount of energy. It’s microprocessor controlled with a closed loop feedback system that provides fast heating, precise and stable temperature control. The Metcal HCT2-200-21 Digital Hot Air Pencil comes provided with a slim and ergonomic hand-piece that has a rubber grip and designed to be removed easily from power supply to replace when it’s time. The pencil also allows for easy and quick changing of nozzles and heaters and when placed in the work stand standby mode is triggered helping extend the life of both the handpiece and nozzle.
