The Vision-Luxo KFL026093 KFM Series LED ESD Magnifier has a heavy-duty metal construction with sleek design and produces nearly 75% greater light output than traditional KFM models. It features an adjustable arm and excellent lighting that makes it perfect for a wide variety of industrial applications and has no knobs to tighten or anything to adjust. The Vision-Luxo KFL026093 KFM Series LED ESD Magnifier also features a hands free neck design that combined with a heavy-duty internal spring parallel, three-pivot K-arm allow it to be secured in any position. This LED magnifier is perfect in environments where FOD is a concern and has quality LEDs positioned a crossed two semi-circular modules. These LEDs allow for virtually shadow-free 3-diopter (1.75X) magnification and excellent color rendition.

The ESD model is specially designed for use in static sensitive environments where electrostatic discharges are of concern. It has an ESD-safe lens that is protected with a special coating that alters the electrical characteristics at the surface of the material and guards against uncontrolled static dissipation. The shade and arm are powder-coated with a metal-laced paint that measures 10⁴/sq. (conductive) and the remaining components are molded in a material that measures 10¹⁰/sq. (static dissipative). Since the surfaces are no longer insulative, triboelectric charging results in drastically lower voltages, especially since any charge (under 50 volts) is uniformly distributed throughout the entire surface of the head assembly.
