The Conductive Containers (CCI) PP2020 PillowStat ESD-Safe Conductive Plastic Box is CCI's concept in component packaging, which has two 0.25" conductive foam "pillow pads" inside a static shielding injection molded plastic box. It's designed for safely packaging one or more ESD sensitive devices. The PP2020's unique conductive foam tends to form around the item placed inside and is perfect for many applications including ball grid arrays, wafers, or components with fine pitched leads. Unlike the usually sticky gel, which can be insulative CCI's foam is conductive and will not generate a charge. This conductive plastic box ships assembled with the foam inserted and ESD label attached to the outside.
