The Excelta AC-PI 2-Star Straight Strong Tip w/Medium Point Tweezers are made from carbon steel and are fine precision tweezers with finger serrations. Carbon steel was the first material that was used for watch making tweezers and have flamed hardened tips that provide a longer life but are still highly magnetic and low rust resistant. This material should not be used in autoclave sterilization applications.
