Long Island SMTA Workshop to Discuss the "Deadly Sins" of SMT

Long Island SMTA Presents The Deadly Sins of SMT

We wanted to bring to the attention of our SMT/soldering customers, an informative local workshop being held next week. The Long Island SMTA chapter will be hosting a "'Deadly Sins' of SMT" Assembly workshop on June 5, 2019 at the Courtyard Long Island MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma, NY. If you work with assembly processes, these sins can be like "Hell on Earth."

Presented by Phil Zarrow, former director of the SMTA, "Deadly Sins" of SMT Assembly focuses on errors in Pb-free and leaded processes and offers root-cause, rectification, and prevention techniques to address them. The workshop aims to teach participants how to identify and correct common SMT assembly problems.

Zarrow will talk about the common mistakes he sees during assembly process audits and recommend ways to avoid the potential financial costs and do-overs associated with those errors. Learn about the Best Practices for each process step.

Visit the LI SMTA's page for more info or click here to sign up for the workshop. For soldering/desoldering, and rework products, please visit our Web site. You may also contact us via email or phone (800-966-6020) for large orders or other inquiries. We also offer live chat customer service on our Web site.
